The diminutive Japanese
soldier proved himself to be an extremely tough and
resourceful opponent, particularly in a defensive
position. Of a total Japanese garrison of 4,836 in
the battle for Tarawa, 4,690 gave their lives for
their Emperor.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
