HOBBY KIT
9740
TARTAR COSSACK, LEIPZIG, 1813
(RETAIL US$14.99)
The ponderous army with which
Czar Alexander crossed the Niemen in 1813 included
men from all corners of the far-flung Russian
Empire. Along with such curiosities as the Kalmucks
and Bashkirs were to be found great hordes of
Cossacks, of every variety and description.
Although they were occasionally used as battle
cavalry, it was as foragers, scouts, and pursuit
cavalry that they gained their
reputation.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
