Aides de Camp were carefully
selected Junior Staff Officers, mainly on temporary
assignment from their own units, chosen for their
intelligence, daring, and horsemanship. The
regulation uniform for aides was singularly dull,
and the dashing young officers were usually allowed
to wear pretty much what they pleased. The rigorous
demands of long years of war had eliminated much of
the fancy lace and plumage, and the uniform shown
here was designed more for practicality than
appearance.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
