HOBBY KIT
9789
PIPER, 51ST SIKHS
(FRONTIER FORCE), 1908
(Retail US$14.99)
Contrary to popular belief,
the bagpipe is not strictly a Scottish instrument,
but has been known in various forms for centuries
throughout the world. It is therefore not really
surprising that many Asian and even African
regiments of the British Empire were allowed to
adopt it. This crack regiment of Sikh infantry was
one of them.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
