The land-based naval academy
for training naval cadets is a relatively recent
innovation. In Nelson's time, future naval officers
started their training at a much earlier age, going
to sea at twelve or thirteen and learning their
trade by hard experience, serving as Midshipmen on
actual naval vessels.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
