HOBBY KIT

ENGLISH SPEARMAN, BANNOCKBURN
(RETAIL US$17.00)
The British army led to
disgraceful defeat at the hands of Robert the Bruce
on June 24th 1314 was generally far better equipped
than the Scots army. That it was decisively beaten
was due to the ineptitude of its leaders rather
than to any lack of quality in the ranks. Under the
mighty Edward I, Englands grimmest
soldier-king, the armies raised almost every season
by the kings feudal vassals had become highly
professional. Its inherent quality was no less
under his feeble son, Edward II, who led it to
disaster in Scotland.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
