The German Night Fighter
Pilots, the lone eagles of the Luftwaffe, went up
night after night to duel with the British bombers
that were destroying their homeland from one end to
the other. From an inauspicious beginning of only
two squadrons with less than 30 single engine day
fighters, the Nachtjagd (Night Fighter) grew to a
force of some 700 specially equipped twin engine
machines. In the Spring of 1944 the Night Fighters
inflicted a devastating blow against the British,
inflicting losses of over 100 British bombers on a
single night.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
