In August 55 B.C., Julius
Caesar, with two legions, invaded Britain. The
Britons fought the Romans on the beach for three
weeks, whereupon a truce was signed and the Romans
returned to Gaul. In July of 54 B.C. Caesar
returned with five legions and landed unopposed.
The Britons gathered quickly under their main
chief, Cassivellanus, but were unable to stop the
Roman's march inland. The Britons sued for peace,
and Caesar, having gained the nominal submission of
the tribes, again returned to Gaul.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
