SPANISH CONQUISTADOR, 1519

In 1519 Hernando Cortez
landed at Vera Cruz with some 800 men and 16
horses, armed with swords, lances, crossbows, and a
few small cannon. With this force he proceeded to
conquer the Aztec Empire of Mexico. The Aztecs rose
against the Europeans, and in a ghastly blood-bath
their Empire was finally crushed by the superior
weapons and tactics of the conquistadors.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
