In Sweden gifts are
exchanged December 13th, the feast day of St.
Lucia, a Sicilian Maiden, who suffered martyrdom in
304. Since she was noted for giving food and drink
to the poor, it is customary to perform such deeds
as a memorial to her. "The Queen of Lights" is
honored on this date with parades and gala
celebrations opening the Christmas season.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
