NY MILITIA, RIGHT GUIDE, 1861

Prior to the Civil War, many local state militia
regiments emulated the style of uniform worn by the
Zouaves and Chasseurs d'Afrique of the French Army
at this time. The Right General Guide carried a
small flag affixed to the rifle, and was used to
dress ranks during combat.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
