As the Boxer Rebellion spread
across China, the foreign ministers realizing that
little was being done to restrain them, called upon
their respective governments for sailors and
marines as a protective measure. The first
detachment arrived on May 31st, 1900. It included
78 British, 50 Italians, 75 Russians, 25 Austrians,
25 French, 25 Japanese, and 50 U.S.
Marines.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
