The first American combat
jump was made during the Allied invasion of French
North Africa on November 8th, 1942 by the 2nd
Battalion, 503rd Parachute Infantry. The operation
ended in dismal failure. For the D-Day invasion of
Normandy on June 6th, 1944, two of the four
Airborne Divisions were committed; the 82nd and the
101st.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
