Being a seafaring country
Sinter Klaas travels not by sleigh but by ship, and
from Spain no less. This being a carry-over from
the days when the Netherlands were under Spanish
occupation. He arrives in Amsterdam, decked out in
full medieval Bishop's regalia, recalling the
original St. Nicholas, a 4th century Christian
Bishop known for his generosity. He rides a white
horse to the palace where the Queen welcomes him to
the country.
These are unpainted
and unassembled metal hobby kits.
Unless otherwise noted, these kits are in the
International 54mm
Collectors Scale. Standing figurines are approx.
2-1/2" - 3" tall.
